About the Forum

Intimate by design,
off the record

The Bali Futures Forum is a gathering for senior futures and foresight practitioners, convened in south Bali. It is intimate by design, and invite-only. It is off the record, and structured to support candid, peer-to-peer exchange.

BFF draws together practitioners from government foresight, independent consultancy, international development, academia, cultural institutions, and design, with a particular concentration of expertise from Southeast Asia and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

The Organising Committee

Practitioners,
not presenters

Bali Futures Forum is organised by a small executive committee of senior futurists, foresight professionals, cultural leaders, and analysts based across Southeast Asia, in association with Tent Futures. Between them, the committee brings experience spanning national and multilateral foresight programmes, strategic advisory work for governments and international organisations, curatorial and public engagement practice, and independent research.

The committee shares a conviction that the futures field benefits from spaces that are off the record, practitioner-led, and resistant to the pressures of performance and positioning that shape most professional gatherings.
