About the Gathering
Bali Futures Forum is an intimate, off-the-record gathering for futures and futures-adjacent practitioners. It is a space to share the director’s cut of our work: what we are wrestling with, what is changing in our field and practice, and what it means to do this work well.
No media. No audience. Just curious minds, good food and open-ended conversations.
The inaugural Bali Futures Forum was held in Uluwatu in July 2026, bringing together practitioners from diplomacy, foresight, technology, education, sustainability, design, science and culture. Across seven sessions, participants explored how futures practice can serve people, communities and the planet.
What Is It
An off-the-record space to talk shop, show scars, and share the director's cut, not the press release version. The Bali Futures Forum is built around the conviction that the most valuable conversations in our field happen off-stage.
This is for the craftsman, not the crowd. A room small enough that every voice is heard, in a resonant location that encourages reflection about history and heritage, nature and culture, and what all that means for the future.
